Team News: Thomas Muller, Mario Gotze on bench for Bayern Munich

Pep Guardiola leaves Thomas Muller and Mario Gotze on the bench for Bayern Munich's Bundesliga clash with Hannover.

Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola has left Thomas Muller and Mario Gotze on the bench for Saturday's Bundesliga game against Hannover.

Both players were involved in Bayern's victory over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday, and Guardiola has elected to rotate his players on their return to domestic action.

As a result, there are starts for Xherdan Shaqiri and Rafinha, while Robert Lewandowski continues to lead the line for the champions.

Tayfun Korkut has made two changes to his Hannover side, with Manuel Schmiedebach and Felipe coming into the side to replace Leon Andreasen and Leonardo Bittencourt.

Bayern: Neuer, Alonso, Dante, Benatia, Robben, Shaqiri, Rafinha, Bernat, Lahm, Alaba, Lewandowski

Hannover: Zieler, Sakai, Marcelo, Schulz, Albornoz, Gülselam, Schmiedebach, Felipe, Kiyotake, Joselu, Sobiech
