Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has made nine changes to his side for tonight's visit of League Two Notts County in the League Cup second round.

Only Carlos Sanchez and former County loanee Jack Grealish have survived from the team which lost 2-1 at Crystal Palace on Saturday, although Sanchez is expected to drop back from midfield into the centre of defence.

Mark Bunn is given his debut in goal while Adama Traore, who came off the bench to create the equaliser at Selhurst Park, starts alongside Carles Gil, Scott Sinclair, Grealish and Jordan Ayew in an attacking lineup.

For County, there is a debut in attack for new signing Izale McLeod but Liam Noble, who scored twice in the last round against Huddersfield, is suspended.

Former Villa youngster Graham Burke starts in midfield to face his old club for the first time.
