Jack Wilshere returns from a six-week absence to fill the void left by in-form Tomas Rosicky in Arsenal's midfield for their Premier League meeting with Norwich at the Emirates.

Jack Wilshere will make his first Arsenal start in six weeks when Norwich City visit the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

The influential midfielder has not played since March due to injury and will take the place of in-form Tomas Rosicky, who misses out because of a hamstring strain.

Defensive duo Thomas Vermaelen and Kieran Gibbs are recalled to a back four that is missing Per Mertesacker through suspension, while Theo Walcott is among the Gunners substitutes.

Grant Holt is handed a recall for the Canaries, but Kei Kamara maintains his place in the Norwich XI as Chris Hughton names two strikers in his starting lineup.

The visitors have injury doubt Mark Bunn available to keep goal, but do make two other alterations, with Alexander Tettey and Steven Whittaker replacing Wes Hoolahan and Javier Garrido.

Arsenal: Fabianski; Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Gibbs; Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey; Cazorla, Gervinho, Giroud

Norwich: Bunn; R.Martin, Bassong, Turner, Whittaker; Johnson, Howson, Tettey, Snodgrass, Kamara; Holt
