Wednesday's Premier League predictions including West Ham vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Premier League action, including Arsenal vs. Norwich City and West Ham United vs. Chelsea.

Bournemouth vs. Newcastle (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Out-of-form Bournemouth welcome Newcastle United to the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday night looking for a much-needed win to ease their relegation concerns.

Eddie Howe's side currently sit in the relegation zone with only seven games of their season remaining, whereas Newcastle are effectively safe with just one point needed to reach the 40 mark.

We say: Bournemouth 1-1 Newcastle

The formbook points to a Newcastle win in this match, but Bournemouth are running out of time to get results and, considering their run of fixtures after this one, will know that this is one of the best remaining chances to pick up an elusive win.

We feel that they will fall just short of that, but they may come away with a point which could still be enough to lift them out of the relegation zone.

Arsenal vs. Norwich (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Arsenal return to the Emirates Stadium for the first time since March 7 on Wednesday night when they host relegation-threatened Norwich City.

Both teams were in FA Cup action at the weekend, with Arsenal progressing into the semi-finals whereas Norwich were knocked out by Manchester United.

We say: Arsenal 3-0 Norwich

For all of the problems Arsenal are experiencing right now, they look like a model club in comparison to Norwich, who are in dreadful form and have an injury crisis to boot.

It appears to be an ideal fixture for Arsenal to chalk up another win, and we cannot look past it being fairly comfortable for the hosts too.

Everton vs. Leicester (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Leicester City will resume their search for a first win since the Premier League restarted when they take on Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.

The Foxes still sit third in the table but have seen their Champions League spot come under threat, while hosts Everton still have an outside chance of European qualification next season too.

We say: Everton 1-1 Leicester

Leicester have won the last three editions of this fixture and are looking for four in a row against Everton for the first time ever, but the Foxes' form in recent months has not matched their lofty league position.

Everton are yet to concede a goal since the restart and, for a misfiring Leicester attack, that could see them forced to share the spoils yet again.

West Ham vs. Chelsea (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Chelsea make the trip from West to East London to take on West Ham United in a capital derby of huge significance at both ends of the table on Wednesday night.

The visitors have returned from lockdown in winning form, whereas the Hammers have lost two from two so far to plunge their Premier League survival hopes into even greater doubt.

We say: West Ham 1-2 Chelsea

Chelsea may have only won one of the last five meetings between these two sides, but the formbook points at there only being one result in this one.

Chelsea are enjoying one of their best runs of the season, whereas for West Ham it is difficult to see where the next win is coming from. They need one as soon as possible if they are to get themselves away from trouble, but it would be a surprise to see it come in this match.
