Caroline Wozniacki beats Ons Jabeur 7-6 6-4 at Indian Wells

Former world number one Caroline Wozniacki fights past Ons Jabeur in straight sets in the BNP Paribas Open.

Caroline Wozniacki took two hours to finally see off the resilient Ons Jabeur in the BNP Paribas Open second round.

The Dane was taken to a tie-break in the opening set, but she eventually prevailed by beating Jabeur 7-3.

Wozniacki struggled to turn her heavy pressure into games on the scoreboard as she squandered 10 opportunities to get the better of the Jabeur serve.

However, she eventually made it stick in the second set and was able to serve out a 7-6 6-4 victory at Indian Wells.
