Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how France could line up for their Euro 2020 opener against Germany on Tuesday night.

France talisman Karim Benzema is fit and raring to go for his side's Euro 2020 opener with Germany at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.

The Real Madrid forward had to come off against Bulgaria with a minor injury, but he has been involved in full training over the past couple of days and should take his rightful place in attack alongside Kylian Mbappe.

The Mbappe-Benzema combination would force Olivier Giroud to take his spot on the bench despite netting twice against Bulgaria, and the Chelsea man appeared to aim a dig at compatriot Mbappe after that 3-0 win, but reports of a feud have since been played down by those in the Bleus camp.

Antoine Griezmann has fond memories of playing against the Germans after his brace dumped Die Mannschaft out of the Euro 2016 semi-finals, and the Barcelona man will once again operate in a slightly deeper role for Les Bleus.

Champions League winner N'Golo Kante is set to take his place in the engine room alongside fellow Premier League lynchpin Paul Pogba, and Adrien Rabiot is expected to beat Corentin Tolisso to the final spot in the middle.

Didier Deschamps will likely have to cope without Kurt Zouma as he nurses an unspecified issue, but Presnel Kimpembe and Raphael Varane - the latter of whom has shaken off fitness concerns of his own - were always expected to start.

Lucas Hernandez, Benjamin Pavard and Hugo Lloris will complete a defence that boasts four clean sheets from their last four in all competitions, with the latter set to win his 126th cap for the national team.

France possible starting lineup: Lloris; Pavard, Varane, Kimpembe, Hernandez; Kante, Pogba, Rabiot; Griezmann; Mbappe, Benzema
