Bradford City comeback shocks Chelsea

Bradford stun Chelsea by coming from behind to claim a 4-2 win in their FA Cup fourth-round tie at Stamford Bridge.

Bradford City came from two goals down to stun Premier League leaders Chelsea with a 4-2 victory in their FA Cup fourth-round tie this afternoon.

The League One side almost took a shock lead early on when Andrew Davies met a corner from Filipe Morais, but his header was saved by Petr Cech.

It was the Blues who went ahead in the 21st minute when Gary Cahill arrived at the near post to flick Oscar's corner into the net.

Chelsea were looking to put the game beyond reach of the visitors and Didier Drogba forced Ben Williams into a couple of saves.

Ramires then doubled the home side's lead in the 38th minute when he drove forward from the halfway line before exchanging passes with Mohamed Salah and finishing into the corner.

With four minutes of the first half remaining, Bradford pulled a goal back through Jon Stead, who fired in a powerful strike that beat Cech at his near post.

After the break, Oscar and Salah put efforts wide and Drogba saw a header saved as the Blues pressed for a third goal.

However, they were left stunned in the 75th minute as Morais bundled the ball in from close range after the Blues had failed to clear a throw-in.

Within minutes, the League One side had taken the lead as Stead laid the ball off for Andy Halliday to smash past Cech.

Chelsea poured forward in search of an equaliser and they were caught out once again in stoppage time when Mark Yeates slotted in Stead's back-heel to seal Bradford's famous passage into the fifth round.
