Sunday's La Liga predictions including Sevilla vs. Barcelona Sevilla vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Sevilla vs. Barcelona.

Getafe vs. Mallorca (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Getafe and Mallorca conclude their respective La Liga campaigns with a showdown at Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Sunday.

While the home side will be bidding to secure the win that may move them into the top half of the standings, Mallorca head into this contest having mathematically avoided relegation.

We say: Getafe 2-1 Mallorca

Despite the difference in league positions, it is the visitors who head into this contest in the better form. Nevertheless, now with only pride to play for, Mallorca's level may drop, leaving us to predict a narrow victory for the home side.

Celta Vigo vs. Valencia (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Celta Vigo and Valencia head into their final La Liga fixture of the season on Sunday with only pride to play for.

While the home side have recently moved into 14th position in the standings, Valencia require a point to guarantee ninth place.

We say: Celta Vigo 1-2 Valencia

With these two sides entering this contest in contrasting form, Celta will be backed to continue their strong run. Nevertheless, we are selecting Valencia to regain some confidence in their concluding fixture, even if it will not make up for the disappointment of missing out on Europe.

Las Palmas vs. Alaves (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Las Palmas and Alaves face off in the concluding gameweek of the La Liga season at Estadio Gran Canaria on Sunday, keen to end their campaigns on a winning note.

While Granada were not quite lucky to retain their top-flight status after promotion, the two other clubs that came up are assured of playing top-tier football next term before this weekend's clash.

We say: Las Palmas 0-1 Alaves

Despite winning the reverse fixture 1-0, Las Palmas' inability to find the net consistently could count against them on Sunday, with the hosts failing to score in four of their last five matches in front of their fans.

Alaves, on the other hand, have netted in their last six visits to Gran Canaria and have claimed maximum points in four of their last six road games, possibly pointing to a fifth win in seven on their travels to close out the season.

Sevilla vs. Barcelona (Sunday, 8.00pm)

In what may or may not be the final match of Xavi's tumultuous reign, Barcelona close out the 2023-24 La Liga season against Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Sunday night.

La Blaugrana's second-placed finish has already been rubber-stamped ahead of the gameweek 38 fixture, while their hosts have been condemned to a bottom-half placement.

We say: Sevilla 0-2 Barcelona

Barcelona's nine clean sheets from their last 12 La Liga matches is as many as Xavi's men had managed in their previous 30, and that record should read 10 from 13 by the close of play on Sunday.

Ravaged by injuries and ending the season with a whimper, Sevilla should not put up much resistance against an in-form Blaugrana crop, who should give Xavi the perfect send-off if the Spaniard is to let go of the reins.
