Barcelona chief admits interest in Rashford and Liverpool forward
Barcelona sporting director Deco has admitted that the Catalan giants "like" Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford and Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz.
Rashford has spent the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa after being frozen out by Man United head coach Ruben Amorim.
The 27-year-old contributed four goals and six assists in 17 appearances for the Villans before a hamstring injury effectively curtailed his loan spell.
Rashford has missed the last four matches through injury and will be ineligible to face Man United on Sunday, even if he were able to prove his fitness.
Mamardashvili reveals Liverpool plan ahead of Anfield switch
Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has ruled out a loan departure ahead of his move to Liverpool this summer.
Liverpool announced last summer that they had reached an agreement to sign Mamardashvili from Spanish side Valencia.
However, the deal allowed Mamardashvili to remain with Valencia for the 2024-25 campaign, before officially joining Liverpool ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Georgia international has kept eight clean sheets in 33 La Liga appearances this term, helping the club move away from the danger zone and into the comfort of mid-table.
Potential Zirkzee twist as Man Utd 'rekindle interest' in Dutchman's ex-teammate
Manchester United have reportedly reignited their pursuit of Bologna attacker Dan Ndoye, a former teammate of Joshua Zirkzee's in Serie A.
The Red Devils supposedly showed an interest in signing the Switzerland international during Euro 2024, but they failed to get a deal over the line and he remained with the Rossoblu.
Ndoye has enjoyed another solid campaign in Italy, contributing eight goals and four assists in 29 Serie A matches for Bologna, who occupy eighth place in the top-flight table ahead of the final round.
However, the attacker will be in the final two years of his contract by the time the summer rolls around, and if he does not extend, there is an argument to sell him now while his stock is at its highest.
"He has to stay" - Gyokeres's relative deals Arsenal, Man Utd serious transfer blow
Arsenal and Manchester United have suffered a serious setback in their efforts to sign Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres by the player's uncle.
After helping the Portuguese giants storm to the Primeira Liga title with a phenomenal 39 goals in 33 league games this season, Gyokeres will be one of the most in-demand strikers on the planet this summer.
It has been claimed that Arsenal are already close to striking a deal on personal terms with the Sweden international, and the Gunners have the major benefit of Champions League participation.
In contrast, the Red Devils will have no form of European football for next season, although they reportedly still intend to 'gazump' Arsenal in the race for Gyokeres, who shares a close bond with Ruben Amorim.
"Nico didn't do that" - Transfer chief makes telling claim about in-demand Williams
Barcelona sporting director Deco has revealed that Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams gave no indication that he wanted to join the Blaugrana last summer.
The Spain international was one of the hottest properties on the attacking market in 2024 after helping La Roja win the European Championships, but he ultimately elected to remain in Bilbao.
Williams has been unable to hit the heights of last term, but he has still contributed a respectable 11 goals and seven assists in 44 games for Athletic, who are fourth in the La Liga table and will play in next season's Champions League.
However, whether Williams sticks around to feature in Europe's top competition for Ernesto Valverde's side is another question entirely, as the 22-year-old is expected to be courted by several top clubs again this summer.
'Part of the project' - Chelsea 'have no intention to sell' star midfielder
Chelsea have reportedly cemented their stance regarding the future of Enzo Fernandez.
The midfielder is one of many players who the Blues supposedly want to keep hold of this summer, including fellow South American Moises Caicedo.
Fernandez played the entirety of Chelsea's most recent match on Friday night, when a second-half Marc Cucurella goal was enough to beat Manchester United in the Premier League.
The West London club are still in with a chance of making the Champions League next season, needing to finish inside the top five of the English top flight.
Grealish, Man City open to parting ways with loan exit given green light
Manchester City and Jack Grealish are open to a parting of ways in the summer transfer window, Sports Mole understands.
The 29-year-old still has two years remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium, but his future is unclear heading into next season, with a growing sense that he would benefit from a transfer away from the Citizens ahead of next season.
It has previously been reported that Grealish will seek assurances from manager Pep Guardiola when holding showdown talks over his future at the club.
Sports Mole has now been told that Grealish and Man City are willing to part ways this summer, with the Citizens preferring to send the attacker out on loan.
Sesko in? Spurs 'launch ambitious reinforcement plan' after CL confirmation
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly commenced their transfer plans as they prepare for life in the Champions League.
Spurs miraculously ended a 17-year silverware drought on Wednesday night, when a first-half Brennan Johnson goal was enough to beat Manchester United in the Europa League final.
Enjoying their first European trophy in 41 years, the North London club lifted the Europa League and booked a spot in the League Phase of next season's Champions League.
Tottenham's form on the continental is polar opposite to their struggles domestically, with the club currently sitting 17th in the Premier League standings.
Swift exit: Inter 'exploring move' for Serie A-linked Man United attacker
Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund is reportedly wanted by Inter Milan this summer.
The 22-year-old started at the focal point of attack for the Red Devils as they lost the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
Hojlund and his United teammates have endured a woeful campaign, with the English giants sitting 16th in the Premier League table with a single match remaining.
Featuring in 31 top-flight matches across the 2024-25 term, the Danish marksman has managed just four goals, underwhelming some sections of the team's fanbase.
"A unique and exemplary footballer" - Key questions answered as Real Madrid confirm Modric exit
Luka Modric will play his final La Liga match for Real Madrid on Saturday afternoon, with the midfielder announcing that he will be leaving the capital giants when his contract expires this summer.
The Croatia international has been an incredible servant for Los Blancos, representing the club for 13 seasons, winning a club-record 28 trophies, including six Champions League titles during an incredible career in Spain.
The 2018 Ballon d'Or winner has again been an important player for Real Madrid this season, making 55 appearances, scoring four goals and registering nine assists in the process, including two goals and six assists in 34 La Liga matches.
Saturday's La Liga clash with Real Sociedad will be his final appearance for the capital giants at Bernabeu, but in a huge boost, Modric will represent the team at the Club World Cup.
"Pretty mad not to" - Arsenal told to repeat Rice transfer trick to land Rodrygo
Arsenal should have no qualms about paying £20m or £30m over the odds to sign reported target Rodrygo from Real Madrid this summer, Gunners expert Charles Watts believes.
Speculation surrounding the Brazil international's future has been heating up over the past couple of weeks, and it has been reported that Arsenal are now showing a serious interest in signing him this summer.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is believed to be a huge fan of Rodrygo, who has registered 23 goal contributions from 50 appearances in the 2024-25 season but has been outshone by the likes of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe.
Reflecting on Arsenal paying a club-record £105m for Declan Rice back in 2025, Watts has urged the North London giants to adopt the same approach to potentially strike a deal for Rodrygo, whom he believes would help elevate the Gunners to new heights.
'Significant interest': Five PL clubs battling for Cherki as Henry offers advice
Five Premier League clubs could reportedly battle for the signature of Lyon attacker Rayan Cherki in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old has decided to leave the Ligue 1 club this summer, telling reporters last week: "Thanks to OL, the coach, the staff, the president, my teammates and all people at the club".
Cherki, who has just a year remaining on his Lyon contract, has been a standout performer for the French giants this season, scoring 12 goals and registering 20 assists in 44 matches across all competitions.
The versatile attacker contributed to 12 goals (four goals, eight assists) in as many Europa League games this term, scoring twice over two legs in Lyon's quarter-final defeat to Manchester United.
Man United 'pushing ahead' to sign another PL attacker after Cunha
Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their efforts to recruit another Premier League attacker as they close in on the signing of Matheus Cunha.
It has recently been claimed that the Red Devils have agreed to pay Cunha's £62.5m release clause in his Wolverhampton Wanderers contract and the forward has given the green light to move to Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim is keen to reinforce his frontline as Man United have struggled in the final third throughout this season, scoring the fifth-fewest goals in the Premier League (42).
The Red Devils also failed to find the net in Wednesday's disappointing 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final, a result which has confirmed that Amorim's side will not compete in European competition next season.
"We need firepower": Arsenal boss Arteta responds to Rodrygo transfer rumours
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has responded to speculation linking the Gunners with Real Madrid star Rodrygo this summer.
It has been well-documented that Arsenal will likely prioritise the addition of a new centre-forward in the summer transfer window and there have been suggestions that they could also look to recruit a new wide forward.
Strikers including Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres have all been listed as possible targets, and the Gunners could go head-to-head with Manchester United to sign the latter.
Amidst suggestions that Gabriel Martinelli could head for the exit door, Arsenal are allegedly 'seriously considering' a summer swoop for Brazil international Rodrygo, who has grown unsettled at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"Everything is very premature": Wolves' chase for Brazilian star played down
Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly yet to make any progress in their efforts to sign Corinthians attacker Yuri Alberto.
While Wolves are currently preparing to try to end a three-match losing streak on the final day of the 2024-25 Premier League, they are already planning how to approach the summer transfer market.
With Matheus Cunha expected to sign for Manchester United within the next two weeks, the likely £62.5m generated from that deal can be allocated to additions.
Alberto is a long-standing target for Wolves having been linked with a switch to Molineux during the previous two transfer windows.
Young Chelsea goalkeeper 'attracting interest' from three European clubs
Chelsea goalkeeper Mike Penders is reportedly attracting widespread interest ahead of the summer transfer window.
Last summer, the Blues announced that they had acquired the signature of the young Belgian before allowing him to spend the campaign on loan at Genk, the club that they were purchasing him from.
That decision proved to be the best for all concerned, Penders having since accumulated 25 appearances for Genk in all competitions during 2024-25.
The Belgium Under-19 international is now in line to finally arrive at Stamford Bridge, yet his short-term career path remains up in the air.
"Football is like this" - Fernandes addresses Man United future after Europa League devastation
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has offered to leave Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.
The 30-year-old has been Man United's standout player during a desperately disappointing campaign, scoring 19 goals and registering 19 assists in 56 appearances in all competitions.
However, he was unable to inspire the Red Devils to success in the Europa League on Wednesday night, with Tottenham Hotspur recording a 1-0 victory in Spain to land the trophy and qualify for next season's Champions League.
Fernandes has said that he wants to be a part of the rebuild job at Man United, but the attacker has also insisted that he would be prepared to leave the English giants if they decided to cash-in on him during the summer market.
Amorim vs. Garnacho: Is it over for the 20-year-old at Old Trafford?
Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho and head coach Ruben Amorim aimed digs towards each other following the team's disastrous performance in the Europa League final on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils suffered a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the showpiece event in Spain, and Amorim's decision not to start Garnacho was a huge subject of debate when the lineups were announced.
Garnacho was ultimately only introduced in the 71st minute of the contest, and his brother and agent furiously criticised Amorim's decision not to start the Argentina international in the final.
"Working as no one else, helping every round, coming from two goals in the last two finals, just to be on the pitch for 19 mins and get thrown under the bus. Wowe hahahahahaha," Roberto Garnacho wrote on Instagram.
