Joe Ledley targets win over Liverpool

Joe Ledley urges his Crystal Palace teammates to get back to winning ways when they face Liverpool on Monday.

Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley has urged his teammates to get back to winning ways when they face Liverpool on Monday in the Premier League.

The Eagles saw their run of five consecutive victories come to an end last weekend as they were beaten 2-0 at home to Manchester City.

Ledley now hopes that the team can put that result behind them and pick up three points against title-chasing Liverpool at Selhurst Park.

"We were on a fantastic run and we wanted to continue that, but we just need to keep going now until the end of season," the Welshman told the club's official website.

"The Liverpool match is another fantastic game to play in and it's going to be a sell-out, so we look forward to that.

"It's going to be a fantastic atmosphere from both sets of fans, so there's going to be a lot of pressure on them and on us as well. Hopefully we can just continue and get a win."

Palace are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table.
