Barcelona to send scout to watch Pepe Reina?

Barcelona will reportedly send an official to watch on-loan Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina in action.

Barcelona will reportedly send technical secretary Albert Valentin to watch Pepe Reina in action for Napoli's Champions League clash with Marseille.

The on-loan Liverpool keeper was strongly linked with a move to the Liga champions during the summer, before he eventually made the temporary switch to Italy.

However, Barca still remain keen on the Spaniard, and will dispatch the official to watch him in action against the French side in the next round of European games, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Rafael Benitez's side are currently second in Serie A.
