A brace from defender Brandon Barklage has helped New York Red Bulls to a 3-2 victory over D.C. United.
It was United who went ahead when Chris Pontius opened the scoring after 31 seconds.
Barklage struck back in the 20th minute after Joel Lindpere's corner was driven low into the box.
The home side took the lead in first-half stoppage time after Barklage latched onto Rafael Marquez's free kick to volley home.
Jan Gunnar Solli further extended New York's lead in the 55th minute before Pontius grabbed his second of the game 10 minutes later.
The result leaves New York in third in the MLS Eastern Conference, just three points behind first-placed D.C.
