Former Crusaders coach Iestyn Harris could be set for an immediate return to Super League with Wigan Warriors.

Iestyn Harris has confirmed that he could join Wigan Warriors as assistant coach.

The 35-year-old left his post as coach of Crusaders after the Welsh side decided to withdraw from Super League.

"It is one of a few options," said Harris. "I won't deny it or confirm it at this stage.

"I'm sure something will be around the corner. I'm pretty optimistic that the future is pretty good for me. It is flattering that my name is being linked with jobs."

Harris, who is the current Wales coach, took over at Crusaders in 2010.
