Half-Time Report: Fulham lead against Norwich City

Fulham lead going into half time of their Championship match with Norwich City thanks to a goal from Sean Kavanagh.

Fulham have the lead going into half time of their Championship match with Norwich City this afternoon thanks to Sean Kavanagh's strike.

There were few chances of note in the opening exchanges, with Cameron Jerome coming closest from a corner but he couldn't keep his header on target.

Hugo Rodallega then combined with Ross McCormack before the Scotsman's shot deflected off Russell Martin and went over.

Fulham went in front when Kavanagh drilled the ball low and beyond John Ruddy after being allowed too much space on the left flank.

The goal gave the home side confidence and they didn't allow Norwich to have any time on the ball as the half went on.

Dan Burn climbed highest from a Fulham corner but his header was cleared off the line by Wes Hoolahan, meaning that the London club went in at the break with a 1-0 lead.
