Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has rejected rumours that he was approached by Manchester City and Chelsea during the summer.
The German coach revealed yesterday that English clubs had expressed an interest in him managing in the Premier League.
However, Klopp, who opted to remain in the Bundesliga, has denied that City and Chelsea made offers to him ahead of the appointments of Manuel Pellegrini and Jose Mourinho respectively.
"I think it was a summary of everything I said, because I never said I had offers from these two clubs," The Guardian quotes Klopp as saying.
"I am 46 and in some cases of life it's not so young and in some cases it's young enough.
"I have to work and I want to work for a few more years and maybe in the future when my English is better, maybe then I will come to England."
Meanwhile, Klopp is preparing his team to face Arsenal in the Champions League this evening.
