Preview: Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Blackpool

Sports Mole previews the Easter Monday Championship match between Brighton & Hove Albion and Blackpool.

Brighton & Hove Albion head into Easter Monday's match against struggling Blackpool aiming to keep their place in the Championship playoffs.

The Seasiders are sixth in the table, but a 1-1 draw in their last outing against Huddersfield Town has left them nervously looking over their shoulders.

Oscar Garcia's men are just a point above Reading and Ipswich Town heading into the last three games of the season and know that their destiny is in their own hands.

They have gone five games in the league unbeaten, although three of those fixtures have ended in draws.

Their opponents are a Blackpool side who are in the relegation zone and on a four-game losing run.

A 1-0 defeat against high-flying Burnley in their last match saw Barry Ferguson's men slip to their 21st league reverse of the season.

Few would have predicted the situation that they would be in now having won five of their first six games of the season.

Brighton forward Will Hoskins has recovered from a long-term knee injury and is available for selection, but midfielder Andrea Orlandi is ruled out.

Blackpool are without Ricardo Fuller, Kirk Broadfoot and Robert Earnshaw, while Jack Robinson is expected to play despite suffering from cramp.
