Etienne Capoue's agent admits there was Premier League interest in his client in January.
The agent of Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue has claimed that a number of Premier League clubs were interested in his client during the recent transfer window.
Mino Raiola said that the Toulouse chairman Olivier Sadran's valuation of the player put the clubs, which included Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham, off making a formal bid.
"At lot of English clubs wanted to hire him, most notably Arsenal, Tottenham and Fulham," Raiola told L'Equipe.
"Paris Saint-Germain wanted him too, but that may be for the summer. We will see what happens in the future.
"I know Toulouse chairman Sadran was not keen to sell during the winter window. The fee demanded was a barrier on each occasion, but we held some polite talks."
Capoue has four league goals for Toulouse this season.
