Sunday's Premier League predictions including Manchester City vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Premier League fixtures, including Manchester City vs. Liverpool.

West Brom vs. Spurs (Sunday, 12.00pm)

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to maintain their positive start to the campaign when they face West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Sunday.

Spurs have won 10 of their 14 matches in all competitions so far and enter this weekend's action third in the division, two points off leaders and champions Liverpool.

West Brom are winless in seven matches since earning promotion back to the top flight, meanwhile, leaving them inside the bottom three and in need a morale-boosting result.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs will be keen to go into the international break on a high and the only way they can do that is by returning from The Hawthorns with maximum points.

The Lilywhites have had the odd setback this term - the draw with West Brom and defeat to Royal Antwerp in particular - but they have been fairly consistent on the whole.

On the basis of their recent away league form, and West Brom's struggles early on in the campaign, we cannot see past a routine Tottenham victory this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Leicester vs. Wolves (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Leicester City could go top of the Premier League table if they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon.

Currently sitting in second, the Foxes are just a point behind leaders Liverpool heading into the weekend, while Wolves are only two points further down the table in sixth.

We say: Leicester City 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

A really interesting match-up is in store on Sunday. Both teams are in excellent form, while Leicester have a prolific attack and Wolves have a solid defence. It really could go either way, so we are going for the game to end all square but be full of chances.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Man City vs. Liverpool (Sunday, 4.30pm)

The standout Premier League fixture of gameweek eight sees Manchester City welcome champions Liverpool to the Etihad Stadium in a battle between the top two from the past two seasons.

Man City go into this showdown sitting 10th whereas Liverpool have reassumed their position at the top of the table, but only five points separate the two sides and Man City also boast a game in hand, so victory on Sunday would see them move within striking distance of their title rivals.

We say: Manchester City 2-2 Liverpool

These matches are always difficult enough to predict at the best of times; the two sides are capable of blowing the other away with a 5-0 win or cancelling each other out with victory decided by the narrowest of margins - we have seen it all in recent times.

Throw in the unpredictability of this season and the injuries for both teams and it makes the job even harder, but both teams are beginning to find their best form again now and so we cannot separate them. We are expecting goals, but ultimately can see them sharing the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Arsenal vs. Aston Villa (Sunday, 7.15pm)

Arsenal head into Sunday's Premier League encounter with Aston Villa looking to build on last weekend's hard-earned victory at Manchester United.

Villa make the trip to the Emirates Stadium sitting ahead of the Gunners on goal difference, despite suffering successive defeats to Leeds United and Southampton.

We say: Arsenal 3-1 Aston Villa

With Villa looking increasingly fragile at the back, we can only back Arsenal to prevail in this contest. Although the visitors are capable of breaking down the Gunners backline, the home side should have too much quality at the other end of the pitch.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
