Inter Milan have been linked with a move for striker Fabio Borini after Liverpool reportedly made it clear that the Italian has no future at Anfield.
The 23-year-old was close to leaving the Merseyside outfit back in the summer after the club agreed a £14m fee with Sunderland, where Borini spent last season on loan.
However, a move failed to materialise and a deadline-day approach from Queens Park Rangers also came to nothing due to reports that the London club refused to meet the forward's wage demands.
According to The Mirror, Inter Milan are interested in signing Borini in the January window, but are not expected to table a bid as high as £14m.
QPR are said to have ended their interest in the player.
