A friendly match between Mexican sides Club America and Guadalajara descended into chaos as a mass brawl broke out during the first half.
The exhibition game in Las Vegas was interrupted in the 36th minute after a challenge in the America area saw both sets of players set upon each other.
The referee handed out four red cards following the incident, two for each side, and went on to show a further five yellows and penalise 19 fouls after play had resumed.
Both sets of supporters are said to have hurled bottles and rocks at each another ahead of kickoff, according to Metro.
Club America and Guadalajara have a long-standing rivalry as two of Mexico's most famous clubs, with their competitive meetings dubbed 'El Super Clasico'.
Guadalajara won the match 1-0.
