Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock has denied rumours that the club are looking to sign Spurs striker Peter Crouch.
Harry Redknapp is reported to be fielding bids for the England international, who only started in just over half of Spurs’ Premier League games last season.
With Redknapp currently hunting another striker, it is thought that the sale of Crouch could free up some vital funds for a big-name signing.
Crouch spent a season at Loftus Road in 2000, but Warnock has put ice on any suggestions that a return could be in the pipeline.
"If Crouchy wants to fit into the QPR wage structure, I'd welcome with open arms," Warnock told the Fulham Chronicle. "But something tells me that isn't going to happen."
