Sven Bender praises Borussia Dortmund's transfer dealings, saying he believes that the German champions have replaced Shinji Kagawa with Marco Reus.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender has praised the club's transfer dealings, saying that he believes the German champions have replaced Shinji Kagawa successfully.

Kagawa is leaving the club for Manchester United, but Bender believes that bringing in Marco Reus and the returning Mario Gotze will ensure the Japanese player is not missed too much.

"Shinji's departure is a loss, that's obvious, but we've brought in insane quality," Bender told the club's official website.

"Marco Reus is a great player. Let's see what the coach is planning in attack.

"And we've got another 'new one'. Mario Gotze. He has not really played since December, he was injured for a huge amount of time."
