Manchester United confirm Shinji Kagawa signing

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa.

The Japanese international has completed a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

"This is a challenge I'm really looking forward to," said the 23-year-old. "This is a really exciting time for me. I can't wait to start playing."

Kagawa helped Dortmund to their first ever League and Cup double last season.

"Shinji is an exciting young player with great skill, vision and a good eye for goal," said Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson. "He's suited to our style of play."

Kagawa will officially become a United player on Sunday, July 1.
