Antonio Valencia handed Manchester United number seven shirt

Antonio Valencia will wear the Manchester United number seven shirt for next season.

The Ecuadorian, who previously wore 25, requested the shirt that had previously been worn by the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Eric Cantona and George Best.

Meanwhile, Valencia's old number has been handed to young midfielder Nick Powell, who joined the club earlier this month from Crewe Alexandra.

Another new arrival, Shinji Kagawa, has taken the number 26 shirt.
