Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly one of three clubs eyeing a deal for Feyenoord's Igor Paixao, who recently gave Kyle Walker a troublesome time in the Champions League.

The Dutch giants faced Walker's AC Milan in the first leg of their playoff battle, where Paixao scored the only goal of the game as Feyenoord prevailed 1-0 over the Rossoneri.

From the left-hand side, the 24-year-old completed three dribbles, got three shots away, drew two fouls and created two chances for his teammates, thus seeing his stock rise even further.

Paixao now has eight goals and 14 assists under his belt from 32 matches across all competitions in the current campaign, also bagging six goals and setting up 10 more in 21 Eredivisie appearances.

Blow after blow: Man City about to concede defeat in right-back pursuit?

Nottingham Forest's Ola Aina claps the fans on February 1, 2025

Manchester City have suffered a major setback in their hopes of signing Nottingham Forest's Ola Aina, who is edging closer to signing a new contract at the City Ground.

The former Fulham man's current terms only run until the end of the season, and it has been reported that Pep Guardiola views him as a possible successor for the long-serving Kyle Walker.

Walker swapped Man City for AC Milan on loan during the January transfer window, and the England international has almost certainly played his final game for the Premier League champions.

Since Walker departed the Etihad, Matheus Nunes has often filled in as a makeshift right-back, usurping Rico Lewis in the pecking order despite the youngster's more natural capabilities in that position.

Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap has broken his silence on reports that he could make the switch to either Manchester United or Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Despite the Tractor Boys' perilous position in the Premier League table, where they sit three points adrift of safety in 19th place, Delap has earned plenty of plaudits for his effervescent performances in 2024-25.

The former Manchester City youngster has been involved in 11 goals in 23 Premier League appearances - nine of his own and two assists - since joining in a £14.9m deal from the reigning champions last summer.

Delap has supposedly been identified as a player with 'exceptional transfer metrics' by Chelsea, while Man United are also rumoured to be keeping tabs on his progress amid Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund's struggles.

Liverpool have reportedly suffered a blow in the pursuit of Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram.

The Reds were heavily linked to the 27-year-old during the winter transfer window, with the player supposedly on a five-man shortlist for Arne Slot's side.

With Mohamed Salah firing on all cylinders this term, it is hard to argue that Liverpool are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements over the summer.

That being said, the Reds were dealt a setback during their top-flight title charge on Wednesday night, when they were forced to share the points with local rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that he is "not worried" when it comes to Vinicius Junior's future despite the constant speculation linking the attacker with a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Vinicius has developed into one of the top players in world football during his time at Bernabeu, scoring 101 goals and registering 85 assists in 295 appearances for the capital giants in all competitions.

This term, the 24-year-old has 16 goals and 12 assists in 30 appearances for a Real Madrid side chasing a treble, but there is uncertainty when it comes to his long-term future in the Spanish capital.

Vinicius's current deal is due to expire in June 2027, and it is understood that both Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli want to bring him to Saudi Arabia in what would be one of the most spectacular deals of all time.

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has said that his club will have to sell in order to buy this summer due to the rules surrounding Financial Fair Play.

The Red Devils managed to boost their squad with two signings during the January transfer window, bringing in Ayden Heaven and Patrick Dorgu from Arsenal and Lecce respectively.

Man United ultimately did not move for a new forward, though, despite allowing Antony and Marcus Rashford to leave on loan.

The 20-time English champions are expected to be active during this summer's transfer window, with Amorim determined to bring in players to fit his 3-4-3 system, which is still causing big problems for the current group.

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has suggested that the club currently have no intention of breaking their current approach in the transfer market to replace Nicolas Jackson.

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the Senegal international would be sidelined until after the March international break with a hamstring injury.

At a time when Marc Guiu is also in the treatment room for at least several weeks, Maresca has been left with Christopher Nkunku as his solitary senior striker.

The Italian has suggested that the France international is not the only alternative to take the place of Jackson, insisting that other solutions are being considered.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has refused to close the door on the Gunners signing a free agent to tide them over in the wake of Kai Havertz's season-ending hamstring injury.

The North London giants confirmed on Thursday that the Germany international would undergo surgery on the issue that he sustained in Dubai and will not play again for the remainder of the campaign.

Havertz is now one of four key attackers sidelined for Arsenal, who are also missing Gabriel Jesus (ACL) and Bukayo Saka (hamstring) for the long-term, while Gabriel Martinelli's own hamstring injury will keep him out for a few weeks.

The Gunners failed to add to their attacking ranks in the January window - a move that has now backfired horribly - but the club can still look to the free agent market for reinforcements between now and the end of the season.

Neymar is reportedly eyeing a dramatic return to Barcelona this summer, with the experienced forward making the move to Santos in order to 'audition' for a high-profile switch at the end of the campaign.

The 33-year-old's disappointing spell with Al-Hilal recently came to an end, with the forward only managing one goal in seven appearances during his time in Saudi Arabia, having struggled with a number of fitness problems.

Neymar completed an emotional return to his first club Santos at the end of January, but he only has a deal with the Brazilian outfit until the end of the campaign, when he will assess his options.

According to Cadena SER, the Brazilian's objective is to return to European football this summer, and he is planning to prove that he can still perform at the highest level with his performances for Santos in the coming months.

Manchester United are reportedly unlikely to pursue a deal for Viktor Gyokeres during this summer's transfer window despite being heavily linked with the Sporting Lisbon striker during Ruben Amorim's time in charge of the Red Devils.

Gyokeres has been in outstanding form for Sporting during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring 34 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions, and he is expected to be on the move during the summer market.

The Sweden international has an £83m release clause in his current deal, but it is believed that he could be available for around £55m, which would represent a bargain in the current market.

According to The Athletic, Gyokeres is expected to move to a club in the Champions League, while Man United are reluctant to pay out a large amount for a striker who will be 27 in June.
