Juventus are reportedly ready to make a last-ditch attempt to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba on Thursday.

Juventus are reportedly prepared to make one final attempt to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba on deadline day.

Despite Italian clubs having until the start of September to bring in new players, Juventus are aware that United will not consider a sale unless they are able to find a replacement for the World Cup winner.

That leaves Juventus in a position where they will have to try to strike a deal on Thursday, at a time when United are likely to still have a number of options available to them.

According to Tuttosport, the Serie A champions will attempt to hold discussions with United in a bid to secure a reunion with a player they sold to the Premier League giants three years ago.

Real Madrid also continue to monitor the situation, although it has been claimed that the Spanish side cannot proceed with an approach until they have sold several of their big-earners.

Pogba, as it stands, is expected to feature when United play host to Chelsea in England's top flight on Sunday afternoon.
