Team News: Raffaele Palladino leads Parma attack

Raffaele Palladino leads the Parma attack in this afternoon's Serie A match against Cagliari.

Raffaele Palladino has been chosen to lead the Parma attack for this afternoon's Serie A match against Cagliari.

The 30-year-old will play as the lone striker with support coming from Antonio Cassano and Jonathan Biabiany.

Gabriel Paletta is suspended after being sent off during last weekend's 2-0 defeat against Inter Milan, so Alessandro Lucarelli takes his place in the back four.

Meanwhile, Cagliari start with a front two of Mauricio Pinilla and Marco Sau, but Victor Ibarbo misses out through suspension.

They are also without regular goalkeeper Vlada Avramov, so Marco Silvestri takes his place in the side.

Cagliari: Silvestri, Conti, Avelar, Ibraimi, Astori, Pisano, Rossettini, Eriksson, Dessena, Pinilla, Sau

Parma: Mirante, Cassani, Gargano, Lucarelli, Parolo, Acquah, Felipe, Gobbi, Cassano, Biabiany, Palladino
