Bristol City welcome back two strikers from injury against Huddersfield Town today, but Jon Stead and Ryan Taylor only merit a place on the bench.

Bristol City welcome back strikers Jon Stead and Ryan Taylor today, but the pair are only on the bench for the visit of Huddersfield Town.

They are joined there by Liam Fontaine, who was expected to miss out altogether after an ankle injury.

In the starting 11, Marvin Elliott replaces Brendan Moloney in the only change from their last game against Hull City.

The visitors are without Jermaine Beckford after the striker picked up a groin injury while scoring twice against Millwall last week. He is replaced by Lee Novak in their only change.

Bristol City: Heaton; Foster, Nyatanga, Bates, Cunningham; Adomah, Kelly, Elliot, Kilkenny, Baldock; Davies

Huddersfield Town: Smithies; Woods, Gerrard, Clarke, Hunt; Scannell, Gobern, Norwood, Clayton; Novak, Vaughan
