Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has reportedly reached an agreement to join Brazilian side Flamengo in the summer.

The 33-year-old has made 73 competitive appearances since joining Arsenal from London rivals Chelsea in January 2023.

However, Jorginho's time at the Emirates appears to be drawing to a close, with his contract set to expire at the end of the current campaign.

There is an option in Jorginho's contract to extend his deal by a further 12 months, but it seems that the two parties are preparing to part ways following the conclusion of the season.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde during the summer transfer window.

United welcomed another full-back to the club before the end of the winter trading point, with Patrick Dorgu moving from Lecce in Serie A.

The defender made his full debut for Man United on Friday night, when Ruben Amorim's men required a last-minute Harry Maguire header to down Leicester City in the FA Cup.

Man United are now in the last 16 of both the FA Cup and the Europa League, with the latter representing the club's only realistic chance of securing a spot in the Champions League.

Signing number Joan? Arsenal 'expect' to strike deal for Olympic champion

Arsenal are reportedly growing in confidence that they will complete the signing of Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia this summer after last year's failed move.

The Gunners were believed to have pushed for the 23-year-old's signature in 2024 when it became clear that Aaron Ramsdale was heading for the exit door after one season as David Raya's deputy.

However, Arsenal could not strike an accord with Espanyol - who rejected an offer of €20m (£16.7m) from the Gunners - and were instead forced to make the emergency signing of Neto on loan from Bournemouth as Ramsdale went to Southampton.

Neto has only made one appearance for Arsenal so far, starting in the Gunners' 2-1 Champions League win over Girona on January 29, where he was partially culpable for Arnaut Danjuma's opener.

Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has reportedly attracted interest from Chelsea and Newcastle United ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old featured for the Reds on Sunday afternoon, when a Ryan Hardie penalty fired Championship Plymouth Argyle into the fifth round of the FA Cup at the expense of the top-flight leaders.

Apart from a handful of cup appearances, Kelleher has been reliant on injuries to Alisson Becker in order to make first-team starts this term.

The Republic of Ireland international has started eight Premier League contests for Arne Slot's men, keeping three clean sheets and saving a single penalty.

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to let Casemiro leave on loan to Flamengo before the end of the month.

The 32-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Theatre of Dreams since the arrival of new head coach Ruben Amorim in November, as shown by the player's lack of game time.

Casemiro featured just for a single minute on Friday night, when a last-gasp Harry Maguire strike was needed to beat Leicester City in the FA Cup.

The Brazilian has not started a competitive match for the Red Devils since December 30, when Amorim's troops suffered a sobering 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United.

Joao Felix has revealed whether he would be willing to consider a permanent transfer from Chelsea to AC Milan during the summer.

During the closing hours of the winter window, Felix was allowed to move to San Siro on a loan deal for the remainder of the campaign.

Having been reduced to nine starts and 11 substitute outings for Chelsea in all competitions, the decision was made to allow the Portugal international to go elsewhere to earn regular game time.

Felix has been able to make an instant impact for his new side, first coming off the substitutes' bench to score in a 3-1 victory over Roma in the Coppa Italia.

Aston Villa have announced that a deal is in place to sign Kasimpasa youngster Yasin Ozcan.

Unai Emery has just acquired as many as five fresh faces during the winter transfer window in a bid to strengthen the club's Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League ambitions.

Central defence has been a particular area of concern due to the sale of Diego Carlos and injuries to Pau Torres and Tyrone Mings.

The arrival of Chelsea's Axel Disasi on loan has helped resolve the situation in the short term, yet that not stopped Villa from looking to the future.

Atletico Madrid are allegedly mulling over a potential approach for a Crystal Palace star during the summer transfer window.

Diego Simeone's side are currently involved in a three-team battle for the La Liga title, helped by a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid at the weekend.

Having compiled a balanced squad at Riyadh Air Metropolitano, the Argentine may not have been in any rush to add fresh faces during the next trading period.

However, with Antoine Griezmann continuing to be heavily linked with a move to MLS, Simeone and Atletico officials are having to consider alternatives to the club legend.

Arteta preparing to 'offload seven players' to fund Arsenal striker search

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly prepared to fund a move for a new striker by parting ways with as many as seven players.

Sitting in second position in the Premier League table and having reached the last 16 of the Champions League, the Gunners have enjoyed a respectable campaign thus far.

However, with Gabriel Jesus having been ruled out for the rest of the season courtesy of a serious knee injury, Arteta was left disappointed that an alternative was not signed during the winter transfer window.

Despite that frustration in the short term, Arsenal will be better placed to spend big in the summer when they will hope to strengthen in more than one area of the pitch.

Kean to return? Two Premier League giants 'monitoring' £43.3m striker

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly both hold an interest in Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, who could be available for £43.3m this summer thanks to a clause in his contract.

Despite their well-documented attacking shortages, the Gunners did not make a move for a new attacker in January, a gamble that has already backfired due to Gabriel Martinelli's recent hamstring problem.

The Brazilian forward is now expected to be out for a month, joining Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines, and the latter will not play again this season on account of his ACL injury.

As a result, Mikel Arteta has been left with Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard, Raheem Sterling and 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri as his only 'senior' attacking options, as well as academy duo Nathan Butler-Oyedeji and Ismeal Kabia.

Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has hinted that he was expecting more signings to be made during the winter transfer window.

Forest are currently enjoying one of their best campaigns in recent memory, sitting in third position in the Premier League table with a six-point advantage over fifth-placed Manchester City.

Furthermore, the East Midlands outfit are preparing to face Exeter City in the FA Cup fourth round on Tuesday night, there being a clear opportunity to progress into the last 16.

However, despite speculation regarding at least one big-money signing being made during the previous transfer market, Forest failed to make a single senior addition.

Chelsea's Joao Felix reportedly offered his services back to Barcelona before being loaned to AC Milan for the second half of the season.

The Portugal international found himself on the periphery of Enzo Maresca's Blues squad in the first half of the campaign and was given the green light to see out the rest of the term at San Siro.

Felix made an immediate impact in Milan colours, scoring on his debut in a 3-1 Coppa Italia win over Roma on February 5 before also starting the weekend's 2-0 success over Empoli.

As things stand, the former Atletico Madrid man will be heading back to Stamford Bridge at the end of the campaign, and he is not due to become a free agent for another six-and-a-half years.

Real Madrid centre-back Raul Asencio has been the subject of a €40m (£33.3m) offer from Premier League upstarts Nottingham Forest, according to a report.

The 21-year-old has benefitted from Real's defensive injury crisis to enjoy a breakthrough campaign in Carlo Ancelotti's defence, making 20 appearances in all competitions for the first team this season.

Asencio made his sixth La Liga start of the campaign in Saturday's 1-1 derby draw with Atletico Madrid, partnering Aurelien Tchouameni in a makeshift defence missing David Alaba, Eder Militao and Antonio Rudiger through injury.

The Spaniard's performance was the topic of high praise from Ancelotti in his post-match press conference, as the Italian told reporters: "We have handled all this well, we have been very good at the back.
