Thursday's Premier League predictions including Crystal Palace vs. Man United

Sports Mole provides scored predictions for all of Thursday's Premier League action, including Crystal Palace vs. Manchester United.

Everton vs. Aston Villa (Thursday, 6.00pm)

Aston Villa head to Everton on Thursday evening knowing that victory is a must if they are to realistically avoid relegation from the Premier League.

The Villans beat Crystal Palace on Sunday to remain within four points of safety with three games to go, while Everton are stuck in mid-table following defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

We say: Everton 2-0 Aston Villa

This is a game Villa must realistically take three points from to keep their survival hopes intact. Everton may have little to play for, but they have a good home record this season and will be desperate to bounce back following a recent slump in form.

Leicester vs. Sheff Utd (Thursday, 6.00pm)

Two sides with clear targets in mind face off at the King Power Stadium on Thursday evening as out-of-form Leicester City take on a rejuvenated Sheffield United.

Leicester are hanging onto a top-four spot after winning one of their six matches since the restart, while United are back up to seventh following back-to-back victories.

We say: Leicester City 2-1 Sheffield United

This really is a huge game and one that both sides will be targeting victory from. Leicester's only two victories since February have come at the King Power Stadium, while United have gone four matches without an away win - losing 3-0 to Man Utd and Newcastle in that run - so we are backing the Foxes to edge this one.

Crystal Palace vs. Man Utd (Thursday, 8.15pm)

Manchester United will endeavour to get their pursuit of a top-four finish back on track when they travel to the capital to take on Crystal Palace in Thursday's Premier League clash.

Meanwhile, Palace have endured a dismal set of results recently, but the Eagles have little to play for in the final three games of the season.

We say: Crystal Palace 1-3 Manchester United

The hectic fixture schedule appears to have taken its toll on United's regular fixtures given the manner of their draw with Southampton, but the Red Devils have the attacking players that are capable of causing all sorts of problems to this leaky Palace defence, so we are backing United to further their charge for a top-four finish with a routine victory at Selhurst Park.

Southampton vs. Brighton (Thursday, 8.15pm)

Brighton & Hove Albion will be aiming to solidify their position in the Premier League standings when they travel across the South Coast to take on Southampton in Thursday evening's clash.

Southampton have little to play for in the closing stages as they lie 12th in the table, whereas Brighton occupy 15th spot - five points clear of the relegation zone.

We say: Southampton 2-1 Brighton

Southampton have done themselves proud over the past few weeks with memorable results against the two Manchester clubs. The Saints boast a strong recent record over their South Coast rivals too, so we expect Hasenhuttl's men to keep their impressive run going with a narrow victory on Thursday evening.
