Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva suggests that he would like the Premier League champions to consider signing some of Benfica's top prospects.

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has suggested that he would welcome the opportunity to play alongside Joao Felix at the Etihad Stadium.

The Benfica youngster has contributed 16 goals and eight assists from 29 outings in Portugal's top flight and the Europa League this season, and it has resulted in widespread interest in his signature.

City have also been linked with the 19-year-old, and Bernardo has admitted that he has been left impressed by the young crop at Estadio Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

The playmaker told Sol: "I really enjoyed playing against Benfica in the Champions League. It is very good the bet that Benfica has made on youngsters, from Ferro, Joao Felix, Florentino (Luis), to Jota, who has played less.

"I wish I could take the youngsters from Benfica to Manchester. They are all very good."

Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira has suggested that none of the club's prospects will be allowed to leave this summer.
