Liverpool are reportedly hoping to trim their squad by offloading as many as five fringe players before Friday's domestic transfer deadline.

Liverpool will reportedly use the final two days of the domestic transfer window to trim their squad by offloading as many as five more players.

Jurgen Klopp has already allowed a number of first-team options, including Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren and Rhian Brewster, to leave on permanent deals this summer.

The Reds were keen to offload more players on a permanent basis, but are now willing to consider loan bids prior to Friday's 5pm deadline for deals between Premier League and EFL clubs, according to Goal.

Harry Wilson is one of Liverpool's priorities to ship out, with Championship quartet Swansea City, Derby County, Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City all interested in a loan deal.

Ben Woodburn could also be set for another loan exit, with League One duo Charlton Athletic and Hull City thought to be keen on the Wales international.

Klopp is also open to loan moves for Nat Phillips, Liam Millar and Herbie Kane, all of whom also spent last season away from Anfield.

Recent reports have also claimed that Liverpool could make one more signing themselves before Friday's deadline, with Bournemouth midfielder David Brooks thought to be on their radar.
