Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham are reportedly among five Premier League clubs considering a move for Bournemouth's David Brooks before Friday's deadline.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are among five Premier League clubs reportedly considering a late move for Bournemouth midfielder David Brooks.

The 23-year-old missed the vast majority of last season through injury, being limited to only nine appearances as Bournemouth suffered relegation from the Premier League.

Brooks has nonetheless been linked with a move away from the Vitality Stadium throughout the summer, and top-flight clubs still have until 5pm on Friday to complete a deal before the domestic window closes.

The Daily Mail reports that five Premier League teams are monitoring the Wales international's situation.

Liverpool, Manchester United, and Spurs are among the interested parties, while league leaders Everton and Europa League participants Leicester City are also reportedly considering an approach.

Bournemouth are bracing themselves for late interest in the midfielder, but are adamant that he will not be sold for anything less than their £40m asking price - a fee which could prove problematic for any potential suitors.

Bournemouth have already lost key players such as Nathan Ake, Aaron Ramsdale and Callum Wilson since suffering relegation, while Joshua King has also been heavily linked with a move away before Friday's deadline.

Brooks has made four appearances for the Cherries so far this season.
