Roy Keane: 'Liverpool are a team in crisis'

Manchester United legend Roy Keane believes that Liverpool are a team in "crisis" after a sixth home defeat on the bounce in the Premier League.

Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has delivered a scathing assessment of Liverpool's squad after yet another dismal home defeat in the Premier League.

The injury-ravaged champions have all but conceded the Premier League title after a 1-0 defeat to Fulham at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, with Mario Lemina bagging the only goal on the day.

The fortress that was once Anfield has now played host to six Liverpool defeats in a row, and Keane believes that Jurgen Klopp's men are now a team in "crisis".

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Keane said: "The biggest worry I have for Liverpool - to me, they're not playing as a team. They're not a team, the signs have been there for the last few months and you're thinking: 'Are they really that bad?'.

"It's obviously crisis time for Liverpool now. They are not playing as a team and that should be the manager's biggest worry."

The Reds can temporarily forget about their domestic struggles as they welcome RB Leipzig to Merseyside for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday, with Liverpool 2-0 up from the first meeting.
