Report: Philippe Coutinho picks Paris Saint-Germain as next club

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly looking to strike a loan agreement with Barcelona for versatile midfielder Philippe Coutinho after seeing off competition from Chelsea.

Unwanted Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho has decided on a move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report.

The Brazil international has endured an underwhelming 18-month spell at Camp Nou and is believed to have been told to look for a new club.

Chelsea have been strongly linked with the 26-year-old in recent days, but reports in the Spanish media claim that PSG have as good as won the race for the versatile midfielder's signature.

PSG were supposedly encouraged to make a move for Coutinho by his compatriot Neymar, who the ex-Liverpool ace is keen to link up with at club level.

The French giants are said to be looking to strike an initial loan agreement with Barca ahead of making the deal permanent in a year's time.
