Manchester City reportedly do not have any chance of prising Robert Lewandowski away from Bayern Munich this summer.

Manchester City reportedly have 'no chance' of striking a deal for Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski this summer.

The 32-year-old's deal at the Allianz Arena is due to expire at the end of the 2022-23 season, and he has previously refused to rule out a transfer to another league.

Man City are expected to prioritise a swoop for Harry Kane this summer, but should they be priced out of a move for England captain, they could supposedly turn their attention to Lewandowski.

However, German outlet Bild claims that there is 'no chance' of Lewandowski leaving Bayern in the coming weeks, despite his uncertain contract situation.

Bayern allegedly believe that Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi is playing 'little games' as he endeavours to bump up the striker's salary, and manager Julian Nagelsmann has admitted his frustration at the speculation surrounding his star man.

The forward hit 41 goals in 29 Bundesliga games last term - breaking the previous all-time record of 40 set by Gerd Muller in the 1971-72 season.
