Arsene Wenger admits that he has yet to decide whether he will seek another coaching post after leaving Arsenal at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he has yet to come to a decision regarding his future as a coach.

The Frenchman officially brought down the curtain on his 22-year managerial spell with the Gunners at the end of last season.

Wenger was initially expected to make a decision after the World Cup but, in an interview with Corse Matin, the 68-year-old stated that he plans to take a little longer to make up his mind.

"I decided not to decide," Wenger told the Corsican publication while on holiday on the French island. "I was intoxicated for such a long time that I promised myself not to make any decisions before September.

"When you have been as busy as I have been, you always fear a little emptiness. But I quickly organised myself in this new stage of my life, I do a lot of sport, here I eat with my friends. I talk a lot too, I can sit for hours contemplating the horizon, I read every day."

Wenger was appointed as Arsenal manager in October 1996 and took charge of 828 Premier League games.
