Garry Monk refusing to rule out Wilfried Bony exit

Garry Monk refuses to rule out the possibility that Wilfried Bony could leave Swansea before the transfer window shuts.

Swansea City boss Garry Monk has not ruled out the possibility of Wilfried Bony leaving the club before the transfer window closes.

Bony was linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool earlier in the summer, but Monk claims that Swansea have received no bids for the Ivory Coast striker.

With four days remaining in the transfer window, the 35-year-old coach says that his talisman is "committed" to City, but refuses to rule out a late exit.

"All summer we've had no concrete offers, nothing official and we just get on with it," he told reporters.

"I'm not naive, I know things happen, but nothing has happened so far.

"Wilfried is playing a big part here and is committed here. He's focused on Swansea City right now."

The 25-year-old struck 17 Premier League goals in an impressive first season in English football last term.
