A Southampton supporter dressed as Father Christmas suffered a degree of embarrassment during Saturday's clash with Sunderland.

At half-time, two fans dressed as Santa were allowed onto the pitch to try to score a goal.

However, having successfully found the net, one of those dressed up in the festive gear split his trousers while celebrating in front of the crowd.
