Peltier's family 'accused of abducting great-grandmother'

Leeds United captain Lee Peltier's family have reportedly been accused of taking the player's great-grandmother out of hospital against the staff's advice.

It is believed that 107-year-old Minetta Webb was taken home for care by her family due to bed sores that she developed during her stay at the Manchester Royal Infirmary.

"A patient was removed from one of our hospitals against our advice," the Daily Star quotes a hospital spokesman as saying.

Reports have claimed that the police have allowed Minetta, who was being treated for an eye infection in hospital, to stay at home.
