Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has claimed that he has made steps towards answering some of his critics following a crucial goal against Tottenham Hotspur.
Nasri has faced some criticism since moving to Eastlands from Arsenal in the summer but the France international replied by scoring the opener in the 3-2 victory over Spurs.
The 24-year-old said: "This goal is what I needed after everyone was talking.
"I needed this to show everyone I am 100 per cent with Man City.
"David Silva gave me a brilliant ball and after one touch, I scored and I was happy."
Roberto Mancini's men are currently first in the Premier League.
