Video: Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods appear on 'The Tonight Show'

Rory McIlroy takes on a golf challenge as he joins Tiger Woods on The Tonight Show in the US.

World number one golfer Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods appeared in a relaxed mood while appearing on The Tonight Show in the US.

The sportsmen featured on the Jimmy Fallon-hosted chatshow together following McIlroy's back-to-back Major triumph at the British Open and US PGA Championship, and Woods's decision to withdraw from the Ryder Cup due to back problems.

During their stint on the show, McIlroy and host Jimmy Fallon went head to head in a golf shootout, which required the pair to drive balls through glass panes of one another's faces.

The show took place at a promotional event at the Liberty National Golf Club for Nike's new Vapor iron clubs.
