Residents 'oppose Judy Murray, Colin Montgomerie housing plans'

A leisure centre proposal led by Judy Murray and Colin Montgomerie is reportedly opposed by Scottish residents in Stirling.

A number of Scottish residents have reportedly opposed plans made by Judy Murray and Colin Montgomerie to create a leisure and housing development.

Andy Murray's mother and the 51-year-old golfer are said to be among a group of people who have proposed the Park of Keir development, which includes a hotel, tennis court, golf centre and 100 homes.

However, according to the Daily Mail, 200 residents have filed objections to the Stirling development in central Scotland.

The leisure centre is said to have been pushed forward in a bid to focus on the upcoming talent within golf and tennis.
