The transfer window has been open for less than a week now but that hasn't deterred clubs from making early signings in preparation for the upcoming season.

10.17pmA report suggests that Derby County are going to continue to be active in the transfer market following their club-record move for Tom Ince on Friday by lining up a Â£2m move to sign Liam Bridcutt from Sunderland. The 26-year-old failed to start a match under new Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat towards the end of last season.

8.54pmNews for Liverpool fans over Martin Skrtel's future at the club as the defender will reportedly sign a new three-year contract to commit his future to Brendan Rodgers's side next week.

8.34pmReading boss Steve Clarke has spoken on his delight over the signing of keeper Jonathan Bond from Watford for an undisclosed fee. The England Under-21 international has signed a four-year deal at the Madejski Stadium.

5.57pmChelsea manager Jose Mourinho has asked football agent Jorge Mendes if he can find Juan Cuadrado a new club, according to reports. The Colombian international moved to the Premier League from Fiorentina in January of this year but so far, he has struggled to make his mark at Stamford Bridge.

5.43pmSergio Ramos has insisted that he is not in contract talks with Real Madrid or any other clubs. The Spain international has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United as his future at the Santiago Bernabeu remains unclear.

5.21pmArsenal have reportedly made contact with Barcelona over a possible move for forward Pedro. The 27-year-old signed a new deal at the Camp Nou last month, but the Gunners are understood to be interested in his services.

5.01pmValencia have confirmed the signing of striker Santi Mina from Celta Vigo on a six-year deal. The 19-year-old has moved to the Mestalla Stadium for a reported fee of â‚¬10m (Â£7.1m).

4.40pmManchester United striker Robin van Persie has agreed to join Fenerbahce after agreeing personal terms, according to reports. The Dutch striker has 12 months left on his contract at Old Trafford and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.

4.21pmChelsea winger Mohamed Salah has rejected a permanent move to Fiorentina in favour of a switch to Inter Milan, according to reports. The 23-year-old was offered the chance to move to the Viola on a permanent basis, having spent last season on loan at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

4.06pmWolfsburg director of sport Klaus Allofs has insisted that the club has no intention of selling winger Ivan Perisic. The Croatia international, 26, has been linked with a move to Inter Milan.

3.51pmWatford goalkeeper Jonathan Bond is set to complete a permanent move to Reading after rejecting a new contract at Vicarage Road, according to a report. The 22-year-old's chances of Hornets first-team action have potentially been compromised after the club signed Giedrius Arlauskis from Steaua Bucharest and Heurelho Gomes and Rene Gilmartin agreed new deals.

3.35pmManchester United have been tipped to sign midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton by the end of next week. The Reds Devils reportedly saw a Â£20m bid for the Frenchman rejected by the Saints on Thursday.

3.20pmLiverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has praised the club for acting swiftly in the summer transfer window. The Reds have already signed six players ahead of the new season, with James Milner, Roberto Firmino and Danny Ings among those to arrive at Anfield.

3.06pmTom Ince has described the chance to work with Paul Clement at Derby County as a "huge pull". Ince completed a permanent move to the Rams yesterday for a club-record fee believed to be in the region of Â£4.75m.

2.49pmDONE DEAL! We told you earlier that Lukas Podolski was going to sign for Galatasaray and now the German international has completed his move to the Turkish champions from Arsenal.

2.12pmClaudio Pizarro departed Bayern Munich after a trophy-laden second spell with the club earlier this summer, but the Peru international has said that he wants to keep playing in the Bundesliga.

1.35pmAntalyaspor president Gultekin Gencer has said that he wants the club to sign Barcelona star Lionel Messi in five year's time. The Turkish side have wrapped up the signing of Samuel Eto'o this week, while Ronaldinho is also reported to be on their list of targets.

1.25pmRoma have reportedly entered the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye. The Frenchman is understood to be considering his future at the club after struggling for first-team action, but his wage demands could halt any move to Serie A.

1.14pmRoma sporting director Walter Sabatini has confirmed that the club want to sign Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko. The Bosnian striker has been linked with a move away from the Etihad, where he has spent the past four seasons.

1.00pmLazio have reportedly made an offer of â‚¬5m (Â£3.57m) to Liverpool for striker Fabio Borini. The 24-year-old has endured a frustrating time at the Reds and has failed to nail down a regular first-team spot under Brendan Rodgers.

Ajax boss Frank de Boer has revealed that he doesn't want his first-choice goalkeeper to leave Amsterdam.

11.14amWatford are actively looking to strengthen their squad after promotion to the Premier League but this would be somewhat of a statement if they can pull it off. The Hornets are reportedly closing in on Tottenham Hotspur pair Etienne Capoue and Benjamin Stambouli.

10.54amOver the past few days, Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan has been linked with a move to Barcelona, and it appears as though coach Luis Enrique is a fan of the Turkish international. Josep Maria Bartomeu, who is bidding to be re-elected as president of the Catalan giants, has revealed that the club's manager asked to bid for the 28-year-old.

10.22amDONE DEAL! It was confirmed yesterday that defender George Elokobi has made his return to Colchester United on a two-year deal. The former Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back spent last season at Oldham Athletic.

9.42amLast night, reports emerged that Lukas Podolski was on the verge of joining Galatasaray from Arsenal. The Turkish club have now confirmed that the deal is expected to be completed this afternoon, with the German scheduled to be officially revealed at 2.30pm.
