Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah has rejected a permanent move to Fiorentina in favour of a switch to Inter Milan, according to reports.

The 23-year-old was offered the chance to move to the Viola on a permanent basis, having spent last season on loan at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

According to Sport Mediaset, however, the Egyptian has opted to join the Nerazzurri after they reportedly agreed to sell Xherdan Shaqiri to Stoke City.

Salah scored nine goals for Fiorentina during his loan spell.
