John Eustace on verge of Rangers move

Rangers have confirmed that free agent John Eustace is close to joining them.

The midfielder is without a club following his release by Derby County at the end of the 2014-15 season.

The Scottish Championship side have now confirmed that Eustace will begin training with them next week ahead of signing a permanent deal at Ibrox.

New Rangers boss Mark Warburton is "an admirer of John's leadership qualities and also his professionalism", according to the club website.

Eustace, 35, scored one goal in 14 appearances during his final season as a Derby player.
