Leeds lineup vs. West Ham: Predicted XI for the Whites as Daniel Farke faces "some late calls"

"Some late calls" - How Leeds could line up against West Ham

Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke has said that there will be “some late calls” when it comes to his starting side for Friday’s Premier League clash with West Ham United at Elland Road.

Wilfried Gnonto and Noah Okafor remain major doubts through injury, but Farke has suggested that the latter has a better chance of being involved in the clash with the Hammers.

Harry Gray, who has now signed a professional contract with Leeds, is also a major doubt with a groin issue.

Leeds have some illness doubts, meanwhile, with late checks needing to be made on both Ethan Ampadu and Pascal Struijk before it is determined whether either will feature.

Daniel James made his return from an ankle problem off the bench in the 2-0 defeat to Burnley last time out, and the Wales international is now set to be introduced into the side.

Should Ampadu be ruled out, Ao Tanaka would be in line to feature in the middle of midfield.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored once in six Premier League appearances for Leeds, and there is set to be another start in the final third of the field for the former Everton striker.

Leeds United possible starting lineup:

Darlow; Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Longstaff, Tanaka, Stach; James, Calvert-Lewin, Harrison
