Fulham lineup vs. Bournemouth: Predicted XI for Premier League clash as Marco Silva faces Raul Jimenez problem

Will Jimenez play? How Fulham could line up for Bournemouth clash

Fulham face the prospect of having to find makeshift solutions up front against Bournemouth if Raul Jimenez does not recover from knee discomfort by the time Friday's match kicks off.

While Marco Silva would normally be able to select between Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz, the latter is already on the treatment table, and their potential absences could force the Portuguese coach to search for a temporary solution.

Adama Traore was brought on for Jimenez when the Cottagers lost 3-1 against Aston Villa last weekend, and perhaps he will be chosen to start as a number nine on Friday.

In the rest of the forward line, Harry Wilson, Joshua King, and Alex Iwobi are almost certain to play in supportive roles behind Traore.

Sander Berge may play with Sasa Lukic in a double pivot given the two have started all six of Fulham's Premier League games this term.

Joachim Andersen's ability to play long passes could be key against Bournemouth's high press, and the centre-back's place in defence alongside Calvin Bassey can be taken for granted.

Ryan Sessegnon and Timothy Castagne may fill out the rest of the back four ahead of goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Fulham possible starting lineup: Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon; Lukic, Berge; Wilson, King, Iwobi; Traore
