Bournemouth lineup vs. Fulham: Predicted XI for Premier League clash as Adam Smith injury woes continue

Smith stays sidelined: How Bournemouth could line up for Fulham clash

Bournemouth will be unable to call upon right-back Adam Smith until after the upcoming October international break, meaning he will be absent against Fulham at the Vitality Stadium on Friday.

The defender has not featured since August 30, and boss Andoni Iraola has confirmed that it will still be some weeks before he is back in action, so expect Alex Jimenez to retain his place.

In the middle of the Cherries' back four, the most likely duo to feature are Bafode Diakite and Marcos Senesi, while Adrien Truffert is set to appear as a left-back.

Tyler Adams has been exceptional from a defensive perspective, and his energy in midfield could complement Alex Scott's progressive qualities.

Talisman Antoine Semenyo is certain to appear on the right side of attack, and he is likely to be joined by Marcus Tavernier and David Brooks in supportive roles behind a centre-forward.

Enes Unal may have been an option to start up front, but given he is sidelined because of a serious knee injury, there is no reason to doubt the selection of Evanilson.

Bournemouth possible starting lineup: Petrovic; Jimenez, Diakite, Senesi, Truffert; Adams, Scott; Semenyo, Tavernier, Brooks; Evanilson
