Sochi Twitter parody amasses more followers than official account

A parody Twitter account highlighting some of the issues at the Winter Olympics in Sochi has amassed more followers than the official account of the Games.

@SochiProblems, launched after the Games had struggled with problems such as incomplete hotel rooms, currently has 340,000 followers, compared to 263,000 for the English-language @Sochi2014 official Twitter account.

171,000 Twitter users follow the Russian-language account.
